What is git and github and why it's so important?

1. What is Git?

Ans - Git is a version control system means that if you have created a website and then after that you want to update some things in it then you can do this through git you can update some things in your site and then it will be called as your website's next version as version 2 and before doing changes it was called as version 1. So simply git is a software through that you can update things in your website and release them as versions  and if someone's delete your code then you can also recover that code through git.

2. What is github?

Ans - GitHub is a website in which you can host your website and if your repository is public then anyone can come and do some advancements in your website and if it's private then only you can do some changes in your site and when you go for interview then it's better to have a experience with git and gitHub because when you go for interview then interviewers will ask you to show your repositories so that they can see that how many years of experience you have in coding etc and how many websites you have created and what level of web development, web designing etc you can do. And if you have a project and you and your friends are working on it then for that project gitHub is the best place where you can work on a project with your friends.

3. Why both of them are so important?

Ans - Git and github is very important because if you are working on your website through then if someone delete's your website code and you want to recover it then you can do that easily, if you want to update some things in your website then for that you should use git and gitHub is also very important because if you have a group of friends then you will your friends and you will work on the project because if you are using g-mail then you can share the file till 25Mb and after that what you will do for that you have to use github you can also do this through git but github will make your work easier and if you want a job in a company you must know git and github because the interviewers will always ask for your github profile and you have a good experience of git and you have created project and hosted them in your github profile then it will help you to crack the interview.
