Bootstrap vs Tailwind CSS History, Comparision, and Conclusion.

Bootstrap

Bootstrap was created by a developer of Twitter in 2010 and it was one of the most popular open-source frameworks at that time according to the bootstrap about us page it's true it is completely free and easy to use you can also freely use their templates, SVG icons, and components and make your website. The best thing that I like about Bootstrap is that you can use its CDN and add components to your websites and edit it if you want to add a navbar in your website you only have added CDN on your website then you only have to add the navbar component change the nav-brand and the big class for changing the background color and your navbar is ready but there is a question that why developers love Bootstrap because by using Bootstrap you can make beautiful websites by just copy-pasting and by editing components and templates and those who have learned all complete bootstrap classes they can also make websites as fast compared to writing custom CSS. For example, if you make a website using HTML, CSS and JS then it will take 2 weeks but if you make a website using Bootstrap then it will take less than half days like 1 week or 5 days. (I'm not talking about Back-end I am talking about front-end), all the websites that you make using Bootstrap are completely responsive and you can make it responsive using the GRID -SYSTEM it's very simple and easy to learn, the websites that you made will be browser compatible also and it's very easy to integrate using CDN and the installation is also straight forward some of the disadvantages of Bootstrap are - If you want to make a very beautiful and designer website then you have to write CSS for bootstrap components you cannot directly do it with a bootstrap example- I have made an HTML template called GYM-MAN and it is made using Bootstrap but I have to write CSS for it to make it more styles and beautiful.

Tailwind CSS

Bootstrap is a utility CSS framework which was created on the 1st November 2017 it is was side project and it's developers was Brad Cornes, Simon Vrachliotis and mystery developer #3 but when it was released it become very popular and I also personally use Tailwind CSS and it's better than Bootstrap you can make beautiful hover effects and more and for that also you get classes like you want that when you hover in a dark button then it will become red but Bootstrap is easy to learn compared to Tailwind CSS and Tailwind CSS has some more features like all the components are pre build as bootstrap you can also make websites using some pre-build classes and more features are there for Tailwind CSS but some of the disadvantages are also there like it is a bit harder to learn compared to Bootstrap, it's integrations are not as easy as bootstrap like if you use Tailwind CSS' CDN then you cannot use some features like we cannot customize the default theme, we cannot use directives and we can't enable additional varients like group-focus and more for using all those you have to use NPM and using it's components is not free you have to buy a plan for using them only a little bit of components are free.

Conclusion: Both of them are good but if you talk about integrations, ease of learning, and using pre-built components then bootstrap is good but if we talk about making website beautiful and using: hover,: active and more then tailwind CSS is good and making websites responsive in both of them is easy. But if we discuss the classes then Tailwind CSS is better because of all the classes that they provide, and you don't have to use CSS because they already have made classes for almost every CSS code. But if you want to use all the components and templates then Bootstrap is good because only a little bit of components are free for Tailwind CSS. But for making websites I will definitely recommend using Bootstrap because it's completely free and has a huge community compared to Tailwind CSS.

Bootstrap is the winner!
